Em is literally the only rapper I will listen to. I guess because most other rap songs are very generic. Like 95% of most rap songs are about shooting people, and use the N word in every sentence. Em's however are unique.

And I find his variety humorous. One song will be about slitting his wife's throat, then the next song will be about how much he loves his daughter.

I am not a huge fan, but I do respect him and his music and what he's got to say.  He is capable of writing songs about virtually anything that comes to mind instead of the rubbish about drugs, money, cars and prostitutes that a lot of these macho rappers go on about.

My favourite songs by him are "My Name Is", "Toy Soldier" (even though it heavily samples Martika's 80's mega-hit), and "The Monster".

Do not forget "Sing for the moment". Easily among the best stuff that ever came out of the rap genre in terms of positive message.

I like him during the Slim Shady days but never really listened to him til recently. I'd say he's easily one of the best rappers out there.

First, F*$#@ Eminem and his fountain of youth.

hehe Secondly, I've liked his stuff since his first major LP.  The styling is creative, lyrical, raw, and humorous.  Speaking of which, I absolutely <3 his dark sense of humor.  Thats right up my alley. :D

Sounds like the same reasons I like him. His songs are very lyrical and THEY ACTUALLY RHYME! Haha Go figure, rhyming in rap. Another Detroit rapper I compare to him is Danny Brown. Granted, his lyrics are a bit, um... interesting lol, he actually rhymes throughout all of his songs.

Not suprised about that , His earlier music is all hate about his ex wife named kim .
