FF7 and FF8 are both classics, in my view.
I really liked FFX also. It had a solid story and even better graphics at the time. (I still listen to the soundtrack to this day)

Funny thing about FFX I never finished it, I’m not sure why but despite the improved graphics if I remember right it was the first one on ps2 but there was something that I found boring about it. It’s been so long I can’t remember but I never finished the game or bought X-2
