Any fans of traditional card games out there? I love playing cribbage. Actually, there's an app for smartphones called "CribbagePro", so if any of you want to face me, my username is "epicerik".

What do you guys like to play?

crazy 8, hearts,  spades,  back ally bridge (my grand dad taught me this one, apparently back in the 1970s when he was a Marine this is how they spent all their time in the evening in the open barracks )

I also like poker.

Is it like the other types of bridge, or is it a really crazy variation?

Spades is my game of choice. I like the mindgames you can play on people to bait stuff.

Yeah my dad taught me how to play 21, or Blackjack. Even though it's really a gambling game, it teaches math skills. That why he taught me it when I was really little. It was his favorite game, and I still like playing it today

I may not be into 'traditional' card games, but I do enjoy playing Uno and Skipbo.

I know it's controversial, but I do like to occasionally play Cards Against Humanity. I understand it is an acquired taste and definitely not for everyone.

Has anyone came across and/or played Punderdome? If so, what did you think?

I'm a weirdo.  I have a tendency to buy  decks of playing cards, especially more fancy or flashy looking ones.  However, I don't really play any traditional card games at all.  Like I can do poker and blackjack, but not with any skill or finesse.  I even tried (for all of two months) to learn some card tricks so that there could be *something* card-related I could do with them.  So yeah, I have a shelf in my apartment with a bunch of decks of cards that don't really get used for anything except the occasional fidget-toy (sort of absent-mindedly shuffling them).
