Costa del sol-costa de la Luz
« on: May 02, 2015, 11:25:34 am »
Hi All,
is there anyone which could give me some good tips for these places? I'd like some wild place to forget my clothes between Malaga and Cadiz...

Malaga is a beautiful place, but the coast is too touristically developed for me. I haven't been there for years, but I supose it hasn't changed too much. There are a few nudist beaches and even nudist accomodation, though. Some info here (http://www.andalucia.com/beaches/costa-del-sol.htm)

Cadiz is different, better if you are looking for a quiet place. Especially in the coast between Conil and Gibraltar you can find little towns and long sandy beaches, many of them suitable for nude sunbathing. This site describes very well the nudist spots around Gibraltar (only in Spanish, sorry http://nudismocampogibraltar.blogspot.com), and also in the official site (http://www.andalucia.com/beaches/costa-de-la-luz.htm). The main problem is the strong wind (unless you like kitesurfing, then you'll think it's a paradise). Tarifa, Zahara de los Atunes, Barbate, Conil... it shouldn't be difficult to find accomodation.

But if you are looking for a real wild area, you should consider the Natural Park at Cabo de Gata, the best preserved area in the Spanish Mediterranean coast, where nudity is welcomed in all but 3 or 4 "urban" beaches (http://playas-nudistas.blogspot.com/2014/11/cabo-de-gata-unspoilt-beauty-in-spanish.html, http://www.cabogataspain.com/)

Hi Nat,
thanks for the info!
That's actually what I think too about the area of Malaga, that's probably abused by massive buildings...but I've found a relatively cheap flight for june, so, being also out of peak season, I thought it might not be that bad...regarding the wind, I loved Fuerteventure, so it can't be too bad ;)

Regarding Cabo de Gata...oh...that's a paradise! Last year I spent few days there, I may live in playa monsul!!!

Hahaha, so glad that you also love Cabo de Gata  :azn:

In Costa de la Luz, I have stayed in Conil, and out of peak season is a nice place (I guess it has to be too noisy in the summer), but a friend of mine will kill me if I don't recommend you Zahara de los Atunes.

Talking about Zahara, did you ever heard about playa Bolonia? It might be just nearby and nudism is consider common there, is it so?

You can find in my blog a post about Bolonia beach (http://playas-nudistas.blogspot.com/2015/05/bolonia_2.html). It's a summary in english of a more detailed post in spanish, so if you can read it, I would the recommend the original source (http://nudismocampogibraltar.blogspot.com.es/2014/07/nuestras-playas-bolonia.html). It's written by a friend that really knows the area (much better than me). I'm sure he can provide more information if you contact him.
