I have been a fan since the days of Wesley Crusher. I had a massive crush on him and my friends thought I was stupid.  Oh, those days!  Bring back Wesley!

I will certainly go see this if I can find a friend who will tolerate going with me!

Lol. Every girl in my freshman class was into him. Whatever happened to him?

But yes, I'm super excited  :2345 about seeing the movie.

hehe already seen it.  :Butt Shake:

We had the "galactic premiere" in Sydney a couple of weeks ago. I'm not a Trekkie but I think it was pretty good, very action and sci-fi. not a real geeky movie at all. Go see it.

Saw it in Orlando in Imax...

Absolutely 100 percent blown away by it. It was true to the roots and yet, not way too much.  The relatively unknown actors were super too, and I am very much a critic of poor acting and script.  JJ Abrams (Lost) delivered.  Super!  If you have an Imax near by, watch it there and pay the extra few dollars. It will be worth it, for ST fans and those who are not, but appreciate Sci-fi.   :2345

I think those who are not star trek nerds might have an easier time enjoying this, for there are many conflicts with star trek continuity. They offer an explanation for most of them about 2/3 into the movie, but to apply this as an excuse to every single discrepancy becomes a task of very gratuitous interpretation. However, after this explanation scene, I could accept the movie much more easily.
