I thought he became some like Time Traveler

That was when he left the series, Mike.  This is from one of the movies.

I believe there were many fans that were just too glad to see him gone when he left the show for good, so they did not want to attract negative attention from them.
Personally, I liked Wes, but then again, the super-genius characters and those who have trouble understanding human emotion are often my favorites in their respective shows:
Scotty (somewhat, he is a miracle worker after all) and Spock,
Wesley and Data,
Bashir and Odo,
did not watch VOY enough to form an opinion,
Trip and T'Pol.

Why did they delete that?  He was in that film for all of about 10 seconds at the wedding.

My guess is that it's because it has nothing else to do with anything else in the movie.  It's a neat cameo for hardcore fans, but the truth is that we (hardcore fans) would have shown up anyway for "Nemesis" while the rest of the audience would be left scratching their heads over who he was and what that was about in an already overlong and convoluted movie.

I still prefer to believe that this movie never existed. It also have the benefit of keeping the even (good) / odd (meh) rule intact.

It is my understanding that the movies take place after events of Next Generation.  In next generation he left series because he became time traveler.  For continuity this doesnt make sense and probably why they took him out.

Your correct, but your logic fails.  He did go off to do his travel thing in the series, several years before this time frame (movie).  So, he came back for the wedding.  He was in the movie, but only briefly.  My Q if I could ask the director, was why he cut Stuarts video portion out.  Thats all.

I went to the bottom of this thread, saw the letter Q with an uppercase, and briefly got my hopes up about him being in the next movie.   :324

What I find fascinating is that John de Lancie got diagnosed with dyslexia as a child and found it hard to learn to read - kinda explains the one-letter name.
