Yeah agreed. It was pretty meh. I mean there are some good beats, but as a while, this series fell a bit flat.

I gave lower decks a try out the other day while I still had Prime video trial. Can’t say I was impressed. Cancelled my membership lol wasn’t paying for that

I haven't seen it and I'm only very very vaugely aware of the comic it came from. do you have any parts in particular that you appreciated that you'd like to see elsewhere?

It was just cute really, it didn't feel forced or like a power trip for the protagonist; a normal highschool but with some quirky characters, making friends and stuff.

I appreciate how wholesome it was without being boring; and how genuinely funny it was, with how absurd the situations were.

I've watched some shows similar to it, but nothing really with the same quality and charm.
