I just finished watching The Last Kingdom. It was AMAZING!! Some of the characters are fictional, but the main plot following Wessex and the Viking invasion keeps pretty close to the actual history.

I've read the series that the show follows. It's my favorite book series by far and The Last Kingdom TV show is fantastic. I melted with happiness when I saw it. I'm obsessed with Anglo Saxon England :p

I'm watching Borgia (the european series, not the completely unrelated US one).

It's quite excellent! I love that it uses renaissance's fucked up logic throughout without trying to put a character that represents modern thought to be a viewer proxy. It's really well done.

 I am re watching that right now!

I got the first Dragon Ball Z Kai collection for Christmas, so I'm watching that. It's still as fresh and exciting as when I first saw DBZ on Cartoon Network.

It's about Alfred of Wessex and his struggle against the Viking Invasions of 868 and beyond. It follows a fictional character named Uhtred, who hates Alfred but is bound to serve him. It's fantastic, it's a show on BBC America and it's based off a book series called "The Saxon Tales". If you have Amazon Prime, you can watch them. If not, the books are just as epic and will suffice until the second season airs :) @Cabding
