Stick with it, they always start out that way in season 1 I'm pissed off that it took so long between seasons 2 and 3 and I was beginning to think there would never be a season 4 but yeah I think when you get used to it and the actors settle into their roles you'll like it.

Pleased to hear it! I saw The Orville was mentioned in the comments of a reddit post about good, must watch television shows and you've just cemented it further, I'll keep on it. Though I gotta say Seth McFarlane's voice is quite jarring because Family Guy but I'm sure I'll get used it eventually  . It would be nice to enjoy something involving him that isn't Ted, Family Guy or American Dad lol

There a few episodes of Star Trek Enterprise where he made brief guest appearances too. Very brief in each of them but if you want to see him check them out. A few former Star Trek actors did make guest appearances in the Orville too although Dr Finn actor played Cassidy Yates as a regular in Deep Space 9.

Marina Sirtis (Counsellor Troi) pops in to play a school teacher in a few episodes. Tim Russ (Tuvok) gets a role in one episode. Another with both Bob Piccardo (Hologram doctor) from Voyager and John billingsley (Dr Phlox) from Enterprise.

I am probably watching too many, but some highlights include Once Upon A Time and Silo. I recently finished watching Doom Patrol, Evil, and the new season of From, and I highly recommend all three of those shows.

Star Trek Discovery season 5
Idk if they're going to make a Section 31 series but after the shit excuse of a TV movie I just saw I certainly hope not.

silo, while i'm on my "'apple TV+'" roll with severance. only seen the first episode so far, and i reserve judgment until i've gotten further in, but the quality of the writing in the premiere... yikes
