making it sound like the worse thing in the world
WARNING it could be your loved ones stripping naked this weekend.

Britain is set to become a isle of naturists with this summer's heat wave raising temperatures to Mediterranean  heights.

A whopping 10 per cent of the nation have admitted they wouldn't think twice about stripping down to their birthday suit to keep cool.

Unsurprisingly, Londoners were the least able to hack the heat with six percent of the capital admitting 11C was too hot to handle whilst the rest of the nation could bear scorching highs of 33C.

But it's not just our eyesight being scorched by a nation of nudists, the hot weather will give the economy a huge knock too.

The British economy is set to lose £8.6 billion as Brits across the nation plan to take an average of two ‘sick’ days off work this summer to sit in their garden and enjoy the rare sunshine, according to research revealed today.

A large number of employees blame hot workplaces as a reason not to clock on, the ‘Summer Cooldown’ study, commissioned by leading drinks brand Barefoot Wine, has revealed.

People are said to be planning on camping out in front of their freezers and soaking or freezing their bed sheets the nation to ensure they escape the imminent heatwave.

Olga Senkina, Marketing Director EMEA at Barefoot Wine, said: "Barefoot Refresh is all about bringing a little fizz and a lot of fun to different occasions, so we were amused to see the unique and unusual ways by which people cool down when the weather starts heating up.

"A tried and tested cool down method is to enjoy an ice cold tipple whilst socialising with friends so, this summer, we’ve launched the new Barefoot Refresh range to give wine lovers something lightly fizzy, keeping them cool as they enjoy the sunshine."

Not what we're used to though.

As for this article, I don't know if it's satire or just a long-winded advert that takes a while to get to the point.

Seriously though, one of my friends found herself stripping naked to deal with the heatwave at its hottest points and seemed to enjoy it, despite not liking her body to the point that she wouldn't even be nude with girlfriends.
Embrace your inner lunatic. Fun times guaranteed.
