A Canticle for Leibowitz/Saint Leibowitz and the Wild Horse Woman

(1/1)

lord_george:
I'm starting this thread to see if anyone is familiar with "A Canticle for Leibowitz" by Walter M. Miller, Jr. It is a scifi/religious fiction book set on Earth after a nuclear war in the 20th century. I'm trying to read the sequel, "Saint Leibowitz and the Wild Horse Woman", right now, but I'm having a lot of trouble getting myself to read it. Has anyone read the whole thing and is it worth trying to finish?

P.S. the sequel also has a bit of nudism since the Wild Horse Woman rides around naked, but also some sex that seems a bit too much to me.

There's a cure for that. Go read Earth's Children and then come back to that. The sex will now seem mild :)
