I used to surf a fair bit, don't think I'd be brave enough to try without a wetsuit anywhere in the UK.

When I was on holiday in Sydney it was so warm I went out once in just boardies, but got an awful rash on my front from the board. So unfortunately, as much as I like the idea of nude surfing I think this may be a situation where clothing is just more practical!

Wax is needed for traction of course and that can cause rash with skin that is not used to it at first.   That is why they make rashguards. (Lycra) but after a few times, your skin becomes used to it.
