Spinning off from the "Best Concert You've Been To" topic...

WHAT BAND/MUSICIAN DO YOU WISH YOU COULD'VE SEEN LIVE BEFORE THEY DIED/RETIRED?

Mine would be Queen. I have watched the Wimbly Stadium concert dvd a hundred times. Freddy Mercury was a genius, and now a god! imho

Saw them a few years back. Was dumb, young and naive and really didn't want to go see them. Happy my dad dragged me out because it was one of the better concerts that I've been to!

Led Zeppelin, hands down. My dad saw them in Atlanta, GA back in 1977. He said it was one of the best (if not the best) concerts he'd ever been to.

Well, Black Sabbath is going on their last tour, which probably doesn't count, but it is close. I won't be able to see them though, which I want to.

Mud (the original lead singer and drummer are now dead, but the bassist and guitarist recently reformed the band with a new drummer and singer):

While Queen would be good, definitely would have loved to see Pink Floyd live, what amazing musicians and fantastic live show.  Guess I will have to make do with dvds.
