I'm from Spain and I only Know places in Valencia, Catalonia and Andalusia, but I must say we have great nudist places and it's worth to come here. If somebody here use Couchsurfing, try to contact me, you'll find a great place in Alicante.

Hi all,

I see this thread is quite old, but I'm wondering if anyone has some good tips for nudist locations/beaches in the area of Alicante?

Answering my own question, maybe it helps others:)

We visited a few beaches near Alicante and here is an overview.
Our favorite nudist beach was Playa del Saladar in Urbanova:

Nice public beach with nudist/naturist section.  Easy to reach by bus 27 from Alicante. Get off at the last stop and walk towards the end of the settlement of Urbanova. Less than 5 minutes walk and you will find the chart indicating the beginning of the FKK zone, from there you can be naked. There are no facilities, you can bring your own sun umbrella.

Similar but a bit further away: Playa Carabassi

Nice sandy public beach with nudist/naturist section. You can reach it by the Vectalia bus (line 1-3) from Alicante going to Santa Pola (going about 1x per hour). From the bus stop it's a few minutes walk till the wooden bridges, that lead over the dunes. The FKK zone is around entrance nr. 0. There are no facilities, you can bring your own sun umbrella.

We also visited this rocky beach at Cabo de la Huerta, but didn't like it that much.

Free rocky beach with nudist/naturist part, reachable by bus 22 until Parque del Cabo and then about 10-15 min walk. The FKK part is further away. Water shoes are recommended to enter the water. Natural shade in the later afternoon hours at the "caves".
