It's quite ironic really I crossed into that field to avoid a herd of cows in the next field when out of the corner of my eye I saw a bull in the distance running towards me, I knew it was a bad idea to wear those bright red fell running shoes lol

I got into running not quite a year ago to improve my health and fitness.  In general I prefer it to walking for the health benefits.  I also enjoy going for longer hikes though, so it's a good mix.

I'm generally more of a walker. I've walked three marathons, and though I have done some running, the most I've done is a 5k.

To be honest. I am not much one for running. I like to take my time and enjoy the scenery. Hiking is for me.

Agreed. Not ever been a big fan or running. Hiking is more fun for me, observing nature than running solely for the exercise.

Exercise your mind and body with hiking.

I prefer both myself!  Depending on the situation and fatigue level.

When in the nude, definitely not running. But for a workout, then yeah running it is, but then I need to be clothed

Lifting weights?  All day.  Running?  A one-legged 400lb man or woman will have more endurance than myself. Cardio was never my friend.

I love running! I run everyday for cross country or track so I prefer running over walking. Walking is nice if there are things to see in nature or in a big city :)

Though now I have to ask, do you prefer running through city or forest?

I completely agree. I’ve never been a fan of running. I always prefer hiking when I can. It’s boring going walking down the street if that’s for exercise. Scenery is key!

I typically take a walk or two every day. I'll hike in the woods whenever I can.

Running 100% walking just gets boring to me, but I usually turn running into a game.
