Interesting Nobel Prize Winners, but not to my taste:
The Tin Drum
100 Years of Solitude

For a challenge:
Atlas Shrugged again, since it's one of the longest novels around, according to Wikipedia.
Don Quixote, the first western novel.

100 Yrs Of Solitude is a legit read. Had to read it in high school and basically most of us liked it and had to right papers on it for our IB Test. Hard to follow if your not keeping up and it has a loads of themes and historical references of Mexico.

-The Game Trilogy, is really good and im on the second book right now.

I've read so many different books in so many different genres that recommending a book can be very easy or very difficult. Right now, I'm looking forward to the new Michael Vey book by Richard Paul Evans. I'm also looking forward to reading the nonfiction book, Shadow work by Craig Lambert. Jack Reacher is a good read whenever you're not really in the mood for anything specific.  Its simple and formulaic.  Like chewing gum for the brain. 

In the mood for a really sad love story?  The Fault In Our Stars.  Its about teen cancer patients. 

Modern Sci Fi about oppression and revolution?  Red Rising. 

Young adult fantasy?  The Golden Compass.  In it, everyones (soul?) is manifested outside the body as a kind of spirit animal.  A very poignant story.  Once I finished the trilogy, there was suddenly a gaping whole in my life

Have you read any of Terry Pratchett's books? Try starting with The Colour of Magic, and if you like that then you've got like 30 other novels to read by him.

Other authors I like - Iain M Banks, Alastair Reynolds, Peter F Hamilton, Aldous Huxley, Neal Stephenson. That should last you a while.
