Excellent choices,  Tiberius.   I'm in the same boat.  Can get down to some Tool, Slipknot, etc..   but was never able to get into bands like Slayer and Megadeth.

Still, I loves me some melodic metal.   Nightwish.  Kamelot.  Epica.   Or even some of the harder stuff from Killswitch Engage, Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, Insomnium, etc..
Kamelot, dope! The melodic stuff is awesome, some much better metal/rock coming out of Europe as opposed to the states, imo.
The good old European country of Florida, yes. But seriously, Kamelot's style is a lot more like European power metal than other American power metal bands, and Roy Khan, a Norwegian, was the best thing that could happen to them. And Nightwish (Finland) and Epica (Netherlands) are obviously actually European.
Please send me a message on the forum before contacting me over IM. For best results, also mention what you want to talk about, I am not much of a smalltalker.

Hahaha, got me on Kamelot but hey, the previous lead singer is from Europe! More so though, I meant that the Euro Power Metal coming out now, and heck, metal and rock bands out of Eurpose are better than most of the junk coming out of the states.

I wouldn't say I'm a metalhead but my interest in it has been growing this last year or so. I've liked a few songs before that, especially Nightwish and some by Within Temptation, but I'm still mostly into symphonic metal though I have listened to other styles a bit too.

Quite like Theocracy, and Leah McHenry too, if anyone knows who they are.

What kinds of metal do you play/sing?

It varies lol. Mostly in the death metal area but also some black metal and progressive, maybe a little bit of metalcore(?)

Forgot about this thread. I'm missing concerts big time.

I so want to see Rammstein. Last show they did anywhere near here was at MSG and it sold out in 20 minutes.

So I was set to see them in September in their first stadium tour in the U.S. And a :censored plague breaks out. Oh well, at least they seem committed to coming back next yea.
