I am somewhat aghast at this article: that an art gallery would receive a fine for showing artwork of a woman's butt. While I understand that many in America hold tightly to their prudish views, art has been one of the more acceptable forums for displaying nudity. But I am glad to see that the artist is standing up for her artwork in particular and nudity in general by viewing it as a beautiful thing. http://www.my9nj.com/chasing-news/127326609-story

I both agree and disagree with this. To be respectful of other peoples views, I don't think it should be displayed on the front for the whole world to see. It would be like me walking outside of my house to the street completely buff. It's a time and a place for everything. You go into an art gallery expecting to potentially see things like that. You don't necessarly always want to see them while walking down the streets.

That being said, after she moved it towards the back, I think that's where it needed to stop. She has the right to display that within the interior of the gallery.

Just my 2 cents on it and all.
