I used to watch it when I was a kid and in my teens.  Great show, though it often came under fire by authoritarian characters for being too 'true to life' especially when most of its viewers were very young and impressionable kids who thought some of the stunts and pranks the kids got up to were cool things to do.

I'm showing my age here too as I used to watch it growing up. I think that this is going to be a topic covered more towards the elder demographic of the board!

I liked the theme song, but never cared much for the show itself. As my dad once said "you've been at school all day, why would you want to watch a programme about school?" He had a valid point! So I'd go find something else to do, or see if there was a more interesting show on. Like ReBoot or Mike & Angelo.

I'm more all over the 1990-2000 era myself.
