never really had a favourite group, and tended to buy compilation cd's

And some of the older 60/70's stuff was good.. :-)

I've been getting into film music recently. Composers of my interest include Alan Menken (Especially when paired with the late Howard Ashman), Danny Elfman, Michael Giaccino and (obviously) John Williams

My favorite singer is Troye Sivan ! I love his voice, his music is relaxing and he fights for Lgbt rights (and I think it’s a noble cause)

Troye Sivan is awesome!  I had "Wild" featuring Alessia Cara on repeat for quite some time once it was released.

Otherwise, my favorite pieces of music span multiple genres.  It just hinges on the mood.  Classical.  Jazz.  Classic rock.  Nu Metal.  Symphonic metal.  Pop.  EDM.   Indie.   The list goes on, and on, and on!
