War is over, was good, but for me i'm torn between the Band Aid one and Heal the world, both raised much needed money for Good Causes..

That is a great choice.  Having been born and raised in Santa Barbara and living my entire life in Southern California, one of my favorite Christmas songs is "It's Christmas Once Again In Santa Barbara" by Barry De Vorzon.  It's not very well known outside of California and it has some specific references to Santa Barbara but that shouldn't alienate people.  Anyone who lives somewhere where it does not snow can appreciate this Christmas song as it talks about how just because it's not snowing and doesn't look like a Christmas card, we still "got a lot of Christmas in our hearts."  Such a great song!

One of my favorite Christ-centered Christmas songs is "Mary, Did You Know?" and my favorite interpretation of this song is sung by the a cappella group, Pentatonix.  They are so talented and they sing this song beautifully!  The music video is beautifully shot as well.

TSO is great, but there is another good rendition of Carol of the Bells:


While CotB makes for a good entry in the category "magnificent", there are other great songs:

In the category of "Heartwarming": White Wine in the Sun by Tim Minchin

(Please excuse the rather prachy and political second verse)

And in the category of funny, Tom Lehrer's Christmas Carol
