Pyrénée By Régis Loisel & Philippe Sternis
« on: December 20, 2016, 03:12:13 am »
Is anyone familiar with this French comic-style book? It's about a girl raised by a bear in the Pyrenees. Apart from the winter, Pyrénée spends the vast majority of her time naked.

It's been translated into German and Dutch but there's no official English translation. However, there is a reasonable English fan translation available online at https://www.scribd.com/doc/65988731/Pyrenee

There's also an English fan site http://www.p-synd.com/wild/pyrenee.htm that discusses the similarities with Mowgli and other things.

What a coincidence! I have been thinking about this comics a couple of days ago while remembering that I first saw it somewhere on this forum at some point in the past! Thank you for the translation page!

You're welcome. Do you know where that other post was? The translation has a few minor problems but sure you'll be able to follow it.

I can't seem to find it. Maybe I remembered it wrong. It could be on another naturist related page I stumbled across on the internet.

I searched this forum before asking about it so unless it's vanished into the void it probably was another one.

Oh yeah I remember now. I was looking at the Mowgli pictures in the gallery and decided to do a image search for one of the pictures. Google directed me to a page where they discussed the depiction of naked Mowgli and Pyrénée. That's why I associated Pyrénée with this forum.
