I got into it late, one of my mates at military academy was watching it. Love that it's based on historical figures. If not completely accurate. Good to see Ivar get his revenge.

I couldn't get into this show for some reason in the first season. Maybe I should give it another go..

Season 4 just ended. Incredible.  Season 5 is 3/4 the way through production in Ireland now.  It will return in March.

I was with Vikings from the first season also. Love. This. Show. Little sceptical about any potential new stuff if you know what I mean. Trying not to give any spoilers

i really like vikings too - it's from our past, and even though it's not completely accurate as history the ways of living, the attitudes and the general settings are very realistic!  for the ones debating history accuracy in the show you have to understand that most of what we know about the vikings themselves are from stories (called sagas) written down a few hundred years later, for instance ragnar is very renowned, but difficult to place historically whereas his sons are well accounted for and you can visit Rollo's grave in the cathedral in Rouen, France.

Agree with you on that, if you want to expand and look into it more I think the show is good for giving you the outline. The rest you just have to look up your self. Got to say love the way they have portrayed Ivar.
Not sure want to get on the wrong side of him.
