Reading fanfiction

I'm just going to put this out there and here it is. I... am a bit of a nerd. And as a nerd, I kind of get in the habit of reading and writing fanfiction of different shows seen on TV or in movies (or any form of entertainment).

I'm just curious if anyone else is into fanfiction? If you are, what's your favorite kind or genre, and what show/movie/book/etc. do you read?

I've only recently gotten into legitimate fanfictions. Currently am reading one now regarding one of my favorite fables, Red Riding Hood.

I used to read fanfiction for certain actors, but never about shows. Idk if I would be into it, since it wouldn't canonically follow the tv show.

I read glee fanfic once when I was like 17. Those days are long gone, though.
