As much as I would probably love the game, I can't bring myself to spend the $60 for it.

Doesn't help that I'm unemployed at the moment, but even in general, not sure how often I'd play it after completing all the races.

I don't have a Switch yet. I DO want one, but I think I'll wait for a price drop or the Splatoon bundle.

If you have 8 basic it's not that different. Battle mode is great, but I still find myself defaulting to racing. The online is a lot shakier than it was with the Wii-U for me, but I'm almost positive it's just something with my router. Even if you did get 8 basic though, I'd still say it's worth it.

I ended up getting it a few days ago.

Mostly I'm just racing, it's fun.
