Fantasy suggestions
« on: June 14, 2017, 10:46:31 pm »
I'm a fan of fantasy novels. Anything Sanderson, kingkiller chronicle, gentlemen bastards, cycle of arawn, etc. I'm looking for good books to enjoy while getting that tanlineless tan, does anyone have any cool suggestions for me? I prefer series, but standalone novels are also ok if they are good. Help me make this summer an awesome one (sorry southern hemisphere folks)

Check out the dark elf trilogy by R A Salvatore.  Its decent fantasy and Drizzt is a really cool character.

Sounds good, thanks. Currently reading Robin Hobb's stuff, but the summer is long and I'm sure I'll have time for it. Thanks for your suggestion!

Can't go wrong with Discworld. I always describe it as what would happen if Douglas Adams wrote The Lord Of The Rings.

You can also try the Belgariad series.
Embrace your inner lunatic. Fun times guaranteed.

Maybe you can read the great "Hawkmoon's circle" it's 4 or 5 fantasy books written by Michael Moorcock (he wrote too Elric circle really good too)

Yes, but then you'd have to read all the other Michael Moorcroft's Eternal Champion books or you'll not find out what finally happens...

This is all the magic of Moorcoock work :D

C'est vrai, Romain. Je suppose qu'ils vont découvrir l'effet magique de Moorcroft quand ils commencent à les lire.
