I use a wide variety of digital art software, palates and techniques to apply the actual brush strokes.   In some, I have to apply each and every stroke by hand, using a mouse, which takes time but gives it a distinct texture and uniqueness. So although it's not a physical painting, it's still been painted entirely by hand.

Yes, I have lots of stuff I have done from scratch.  I haven't included any here as I wouldn't really categorise them as subject matter suitable for IYNO.

I don't plan it out that much.  Sometimes I will make several different attempts at a subject before I arrive at something I'm willing to share. The others go in the bin!
