Naked Jungle - first ever naturist game show?
« on: August 21, 2017, 02:28:14 pm »
it was a Channel 5 game show program called Naked Jungle and came out on UK TV in 2000, over 17 years ago, long before "Naked and Alone" or "Naked Attraction".

Naked Jungle was a one-off playful, naturist version of a kid's UK TV action game show called Jungle Run.   Yes, they were all real naturists.  The TV company recruited the contestants from genuine naturist organisations.  It can claim it's place as the first ever naturist game show.   It featured Keith Chegwin (affectionately known as "Cheggers") as the host.  He was a well-known DJ in the UK and he was brave enough to appear naked along with the contestants.

Predictably, the press gave him hell for doing it by turning him into a figure of ridicule.  The decision to do the show followed him around for decades and almost destroyed his career.
