I don't think 2009 was a great year for music, though perhaps in the fullness of time, I'll come to the realization that it wasn't so bad after all.

These are my two top picks:

I'm compiling my best of the decade list. At some point I might post that here. Coldplay will be at the top of that list.

Piece of trivia: Morrissey and his band posed naked for the inside poster of the 7" single "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris" with records over their genitals.  Morrissey was once quoted as saying "I think my genitals were the result of a crude practical joke".

Jared: I was referring to songs that were released and re-released for 2009.

well in metal i think we had an AMAZING good year of cd's, i don't think any year could top this one, it was just so f****d up going to teh cdstore every weekend to pick the newest stuff up :234567
