From 1968 until the late 1970s, a nudist resort in Washington
(→ Washington State) gave young Scouts the opportunity to break away from the
urban "bustle" on the club grounds to recover a little.
At the same time, the boys of "Troop 66" were able to visit the grounds and the numerous
Opportunities offered by the association were also used for their own purposes. So the
Pictures show here the scouts at a rescue exercise both (naked and clothed)
Of people who threatened to drown.

BSA → Boy Scouts of America
Troop → excluding boys between the ages of 11 and 18 years
Troop 66 → designation of numerous organizations within the BSA

To protect the children and adolescents, the exact name of the group of boy scouts was concealed. It was not mentioned
which nudist resort it was.

It's surprising how much more relaxed people were about nudity forty years ago.

I terms of public depictions of nudity that true I guess to a point in the 1970's Bob Altemeyer RWA scale was at lowest, also income inequality at lowest at least in our part of the world seems to be a connection between economic security and authoritarianism. I guess when you feel good about your place in the world you're less scared about the world around you. But if looked at photo agency sites you almost think there wasn't a problem with child nudes and in some countries it's not. In New Zealand a business tourism industry promotion organisation they had a nude child popping out of a bath tub no visible genitalia for their local businesses directory. Unrestricted nudity requires this generally in New Zealand go natural's covers show no gentalia for the same reason.

The 1960s and 1970s were the golden age for nudism and naturism here in the states. I would have loved this, then again I partly blame wet swimsuits for causing sensory issues and hindering my ability to swim.
