Just picked this up, anyone playing, or heard of it?

I dunno, reviews on Steam seem to go halfway on it. Apparently, during 2-3 days last month, there was a crap ton of negative reviews. Which is strange. Many people say has tons of bugs. Looks interesting though.

It'd be one of those I check out on sale. I rarely buy a game that's over the 15 dollar mark. I just wait forever to be cool and play what's hip with everyone else, lol.

I got it on sale but I would have paid full price, its just recently I got a pc that could play it.  It will definitely not be for everyone, but if you like flight sims this might be up your alley.  Lots of long travel times, lots of complicated techniques and concepts to learn. 

The mmo/role playing aspect seems pretty cool in that, success is based on your own ability rather than skill points, and there is no pay to win aspect as far as I can tell.  Real world money will only buy you cosmetics instead of something that could give you a upper hand over another player.  That is something that always irks me in online gaming, being able to buy an advantage.

Also, it is just incredible in VR, one of the reasons I want a HOTAS :P

Yea I got a thrustmaster flight x in the mail now cause of this game  

I've seen videos of people making a good argument that mouse and keyboard are superior for it, but I'm no good with em.  The stunning visuals have me thinking about a VR setup now too haha

And yeah, VR is amazing, your cockpit is actually way bigger than it seems on a flat screen

When I played it on my PS4 it made me feel super dizzy, especially when I tried docking my ship on a VTOL landing pad in spacestations.
