I am traveling to San Diego in July and I have one extra day. Unless there's anything better on the Mexican side, I plan go to the famous Black's Beach for the first time.

It seems it's just a $30 Uber drive from the airport. How should I set the destination address? Ideally I won't have to walk a lot from the street.

TIA!

Use Torrey Pines Gliderport as the address (2800 Torrey Pines Scenic Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037). When you get there, walk down the stairs to the left of the gliderport to the beach. Personally, once on the beach, I like to head right a little ways and usually grab a spot just north of the volleyball net.

^^^ what @AmericanSwede said. That's what I did too when I went

Thanks guys! I hope it'll be a sunny day.

The glider port is definitely the best way. Black's Beach is fairly big so you can walk around a bit and explore. The north boundary is an area where the rocks go out into the water. As far as the south boundary goes, not complete sure but I noticed most of the people on the south side are usually only topless.

"Only topless" that's very different from the northeast scale :happy

Brad

If you are using Gunnison Beach as an example(*Northeast scale), then Black's is nothing like that. So much more room to roam around at Blacks and a lot more textiles walking through.
