The Story of Colin McRae

To most, Colin McRae was the face of a rally game in his name. The reason for that is his glittering World Rally Championship career, something that continues to inspire up and coming drivers and some of them such as Ken Block of Gymkhana fame rise to his level and don't fear saying that the Flying Scotsman paved their way. I bring him up because despite all he can be is a brand of video game that no longer even uses his name, he was looked upon so much as a hero of the sport that Sir Chris Hoy of cycling fame looked to follow his legacy with the aid of his friends and family (such as the aforementioned Ken Block and his father Jimmy, respectively) and use it to train to recreate his legendary final stage of the 1995 RAC rally that gave him the World Rally title running the same stage in the same car with the same navigator running off the same pace notes. This may have been addressed in an earlier post but the test of time had to have seen it lost.
