I had a guy from the Woodford Retreat Nudist Park near Brisbane e-mail me a couple of days ago about my article, saying that a number of older nudists had read it and they did not like it. They said "We want to go to nudist places for peace and quiet, not to be confronted with noisy kids or loud music". The whole irony of their statement is that they were once like that and seem to forget what it's like to be young. If that's what they want, they should go to a retirement village!
Nudism and naturism is about having fun and enjoying yourself. Seriously, those old fogies need to get a life. If they are going to alienate younger people, then eventually there will be no more nudist clubs being around within the next 20 years because:
a) the younger people don't feel welcome and will take their nude activities elsewhere
b) the older generation are often physically unable to be able to upgrade their premises, thus will eventually go out of business due to lack of support and good premises to make anyone of any age feel welcome.
Wish some of them would think before whinging about pretty trivial matters!
