New naturist game project

I wanted to create a game for a long time now and didn't really know where to start but now that I have found some good tools, I think that I am able to make something. I thought of the previous topics on this forum about naturist themed games so I thought that it would be nice to combine two of my interests.

I want to make a 2d 'escape' style game.
My first idea was the following story:
The main character strands alone on a deserted island. He sees another island with lights. The player has to search for several items to construct a boat and travel to the other island.
Once the player arrived, he realizes that it is a naturist resort. Since there is no option to leave the island until the holiday is over, he has to stay in the resort.
The player needs to do several quests to get a place to stay etc.

I will start very basic with many prototypes to see if the idea works or not. I have already tried to make some basic concepts. The GIF shows one of the walking sprites. I am not certain if it works but if you unzip the MyGame file in windows, there should be an executable called MyGame that launches the game. Nothing is final yet and after making the first prototype I can already think of many ways to improve.

I appreciate any new ideas, concepts or tips.

Edit: I will reupload any new prototypes if I make any big changes.

MyGame4 changes:
1. The camera now moves with the player
2. Objects have been added that the user can pick up

I like the idea that story of the main character begins on a desert island, a bit like Robinson Crusoe. 
Your protype GIF shows a bare sprite on foot. Will the main character be naked at the beginning of the adventure?

No he will start on the deserted island with ripped clothes because he stranded. When he reaches the main island and speeks to the owners, he also gets nude to fit in.

The sprite I made is just for testing purposes and the final game will probably look completely different.

That would be great. I saw your work and you are much better at sprite making than I am I am also not that great at thinking of a good story and quests so if anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them

Also, I would try to sell the game, if you think you can, to raise capital to create a nudist gaming venture if that is up your alleyway. I know I would be willing to buy such a game on steam.

For now there should just be some simple quests with dialogue that the player has to complete. Once all quests are finished, the game ends. You can PM me if you have any ideas or just post them here so other people can see the progress.

It will take a while until I would reach that point so for now I am not even thinking about making a game to sell it.

I would recommend some kind of currency (XP, coins, dollars etc.) that the player receives on completing quests. A quest chain for introducing the storyline is a good place to start. What have you got so far [pm me for brevity's sake of the details]?

I'm really quite curious to see what is going to happen with this project    making games it great fun and a naturist game could be a fun little thing to share with members here for years to come.
