Guinness World Record for the most naked people on a Rollercoaster

I thought I'd alert you to an event that's happening today in Britain.

There will be an attempt today to break the Guinness World Record for the most number of naked people on a rollercoaster ride. It’s going to happen on the Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the north-west of England tonight. Yes, we’ve chosen the end of February to do this! There’s also a big naturist swimming event in the huge Blackpool Water Park “Sandcastles” just down the road.

The event is being organised by the British Naturists (BN). 

Actually, the BBC report stated that the group will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for "the most people on a rollercoaster"  but I’m pretty sure that they mean “naked people”

Well that was a great evening, got lucky with the rain stopping just before we got on. I opted in to press photography so was on the first pair of trains.

Provided that there's no procedural issues to disqualify us we'll have smashed the record by 93, taking it from 102 to 195.

Did you go to the swim afterwards? Unfortunately I heard there were some issues of people being harassed on entering the venue.

The record was more than just broken – it was shattered!   It used to be 102 now it’s 195!   That one’s going be to hard to beat.  The event was organised by the UK’s national Naturist organisation, British Naturism, and coincided with their annual weekend in Blackpool. So I expect they’ll be pushing the record even higher next year.

UPDATE: Guinness have finally completed their verification and officially approved it as the new record.
Now to wait for the next batch of certificates to be printed and posted out.

taking a rollercoaster naked sounds like an experience to die for... especially without all the protection that comes with it
