I spent two weeks to visit sauna (or therme or spa, however you call) in Germany and Netherlands.
Neptunbad (Cologne)
Dantebad (Munich)
Therme Erding (near Munich)
Therme Bad Wörishofen (near Munich)
Monte Mare Seesauna (near Munich)
Therme Bad Aibling (near Munich)
Thermen Soesterberg (near Utrecht)
Spa Zuiver (Amsterdam)
I chose not to drive so it was hard to visit so many places scattered around cities but it was worth my time. Most of them was my solo trip and I fortunately made new friends at a few saunas. I hope to come back in summer.
Hey! I read that you chose not to drive… are all these places on the list accessible by train or other public transport? I’m a student in Germany so like you, I do not have a car. Thanks!
Where are you located? There are so many public transport reachable spa in Germany…in Koln there are 2 in the city center, Mediterana in Bergisch Gladbach is just amazing, just needs a train ride and a 10 min walk.
Other area, Bodensee, Konstanz, there’s a bus riding from the city center to the therms in few minutes, Überlingen, wonderful therms by the lake are in front of the train station, Leipzig, Sachsen therms are easily reachable by bus.
All depends where are you, but, no worries about car, that’s not needed
