The Expanse

I'm watching the Expanse(just finished season 3...no spoilers). Anyone else watched the expanse, and if so, what do you think of it? I love the way it uses real science to drive so many plot points.

I've been watching it, too, whenever we have the free trial of Amazon Prime.  I'm almost done with Season 4.  It is really neat how science-based the space ships and physics are.

If you're interested in some more behind the scenes content, Adam Savage has some good youtube videos interviewing different folks from the cast and crew.

I enjoyed the world building of the solar system in the Expanse.

As Babylon 5 did a Martian Independence storyline it has been done before but even then it's a good show.

With the lock down happening i got bored and decided to watch it to see what the fuss is about. It was far better that i expect. Had to binge it all.

I know right! I went back and rewatched season 1 to 3 before I finished 4 to try and preserve it. I've never seen a show where the crew were willing to spend so much money to get every detail right. I'm now on the second book.

I love it, especially as you said how it seems to be grounded in reality. It makes sense that it actually started as an idea for an MMO game which got turned into a book/show, because they had to flesh out the universe much better than these shows usually do.
