Vegan leather

I would like to start creating some things with vegan leather but I'm worried about where it comes from and naturally where to get it from if I'm to some day sell it and market it as truly vegan. Anyone who knows anything about vegan leather producers and if they're really ethical and environmental friendly?

Yes I do, when it comes to necklaces. But they aren't ready to go out, just prototypes so to speak :) Trial and error and such
