i got back into basic piano recently, but sadly my recorder "skills" as a reluctant 10-year-old in school have left me entirely

I used to play piano and flute, but I haven't dabbled in quite a long while.

Although I haven't played any instruments in a while, I am still very musical. There's always music playing in my head, or a rhythm going in my body. I sometimes have musical hallucinations (which isn't as weird as it sounds). And I write songs kinda; it's more like... therapy? I have a thing called alexithymia, so I have a lot of trouble identifying and describing my emotions, but for some reason music makes it work.
