@Adrian which bands from the 80s do you listen to?

Alan Parsons Project, A-ha, Queen, OMD, Abba, Bee Gees, Modern Talking, Supertramp, Banarama, Berlin, Billy Idol, Blondie, Bonnie Tyler, Fleetwood Mac, Foreigner, INXS, Kool & The Gang, Nirvana, REM, Police, 10CC...

I could count till tomorow 😅

OMD are great. I went to a concert two years ago.
Andy McClusky knows how to set the mood.
If you like OMD, you might also like Kraftwerk.

We have so many in common. What about Talking Heads, Depeche Mode, Yaz, Dead or Alive, Pet Shop Boys, Culture Club, Duran-Duran, and Erasure to name a few off the top of my head?

So, Im a big fan of many things from the 80's... Cars, fashion, design, technology... And of course the music... Im 25 years old and Im one of those from my generation who actually love listening music on a record player or from a cassette.
I also own a nice JVC HI-FI from 1983, made of aplifier with equaliser built in, Tuner, Phono and two cassette players.

So, lets make this topic about 80's music :)
Post something you are listening to, that is from that era :)

Let me start

Kim Wilde mentioned in her memoirs that she once visited a nudist beach in Australia and went for a swim and she absolutely loved it.

This is my favourite 80's song by her:

"How ridiculous society is! Why be given a body if you have to shut it away like a rare, rare fiddle?"

I was watching a show with my mum  the other night about 80s music on Channel 5. It was really good! Some of it wasn't my thing but a lot of it was fantastic! My mum has a few albums on vinyl from that time. Trouble is we don't have anything to play them on! Early 80s music is great.
My clothes look best in the wardrobe.

That's good to see a girl your age appreciating early 80's music.  What are your favourite songs from that era?

I like songs by Madonna and Depeche Mode. Just discovered Blondie. Is that 80s or 70s?

Yes.  Blondie was basically both decades.

Marseilles - Not strictly 80's but very typical Australian Rock of the period
