Decided to build something a bit fun and quick: -

Some US Airborne figures I picked up a while ago: -

So let the build commence: -

@Nudielad you call it quick, I'd end up taking bloody weeks building that

Got back into the swing of it recently, had a lot of stuff going on mentally and just fell out of love with doing anything. This one has been on my shelf for sometime now looking quite sad so I decided to finish it off: -

wow, how much time do you need for that to build that?

Just to build it or paint it as well?

To build probably a week, it then sat on my shelf for months untouched  :laughing Probably a couple weeks worth of painting fitting it in around work.

A bit off topic but still technically "Scale models". Pretty cool to see how all of this gets built. Lots of time and labor!

Bit of progress, finished off the jeep this week. Most of the dusting done with a mix of Tamiya's XF-52 + XF-57 and a light dusting of my favorite earth pigment from Mig productions, P028 Europe Dust. Also started building a little base using an old Italeri building I had lying around: -

A coat of Vallejo Matt Polyurethane Varnish 'sealed' the deal and a final test fit of the figure before painting: -

Used some of Ak's Diorama acrylic terrain to form a basis and gave it a quick once over with some primer once I was happy: -

All done now: -

Beautiful to the detail! I did P-51D like a decade ago but I guess it's collecting dust in my mom's attic now. (My first trial was Bf 109E before that, but failed.)
