Anyone else playing Pokémon? I’ve been getting back into the franchise and have played and beaten White and Alpha Sapphire in the past month or so. I’ve also bought Sword to play but haven’t played much of it yet.

I play it all the time. I'm a huge fan of the series. I just recently completed the main pokedex on shield for the second time. I've played practically every region except kanto and johto.

I recently got a Switch, and I’ve been loving Shield. Started off with Emerald, and then moved onto Pearl, but then took a break until now. Love the implementation of the Wild Area, as I’m having a grand old time encountering Pokémon that usually don’t have any chance of appearing in the wild.

I wasn't even alive when those were circulating. It would be awesome to own an original gameboy.

They go on eBay for about $100 aus.  Seem to plenty around.  Barring that there some decent PC emulators out there that allow ports of the originals

I played that one too. It satisfied my addiction for using a ralts every single playthrough.

I grew up playing the gameboy and 3Ds games, but for awhile I lost interest in the games until I learned about Pokemon rom hacks. Earlier this year I played Pokemon Unbound, which is a GBA pokemon rom hack which has all 898 Pokemon, all of the newest features and a dark story. I enjoyed it a lot, and after seeing the Pokemon direct, I'll probably pick up Pokemon Shining Pearl and Pokemon Legends: Arceus when they come out.
