Lockdown has spawned a surprise rise in naturism as people return to the wild to cope with the stresses of the coronavirus pandemic.

While many of us swapped our stuffy work attire for loungewear while working from home during lockdown, it seems others were taking things a step further and stripping off entirely.

As well as the freedom not wearing clothes offers, advocates of naturism insist there's a wealth of benefits for physical and mental health, particularly in recent times.

No, just desperate nudists trying to grab on to literally anyone that was fine with not being completely dressed all the time. I could go on, but I've said the same shit for years now...

Our local nude beach is a lot busier with 25-40 year olds than I have seen ever.

I will add one very unscientific observation from the perspective of an extended unemployed person. Early on I didn't see many remote jobs as companies just didn't seem to know what to do, then as lockdowns took hold I started seeing them. But now in the last few months or early part of 2021, it looks like they are getting away from remote, in fact, one example is a job that posted a condition specifying you needed to be a certain distance away to be remote otherwise they expected you to come in. So hoping this is just a temporary setback because really working from home is a better arrangement not just because of the incredibly casual wardrobe.

So what do you all think?   It's been 4 years.   Do you think the global pandemic had a noticeable impact on nude acceptance in your society?   How about with nudism as a whole?  Did anybody observe a noticeable dip or spike in the number of people showing up to resorts, beaches, etc.. during this time?

I realize there's no way to collect evidence-based data on any meaningful scale to address this question, but your individual input would nonetheless be interesting.

I’ve not noticed an overall improvement but during travel restrictions it did bring a few new visitors to our club but they would have ordinarily been going to resorts abroad if not for covid.

I noticed at my local Naked Game Night, which I went to for a second time recently, that most of the attendees seem to be in the 20–35 age range. That's been encouraging to me!

My club has seen record interest, even a few years out now. I’ve also seen other little groups and events start to spring up, which is encouraging.
