I got an advertisement that showed a picture of the enterprise and it took me a moment to realise it wasn't a part of the resort. Im disappointed.

Looks amazing, but as @RS said, Shane that the pool is chloted. Also really a shame that it's always gender segregated, it's a real shame for me and my girlfriend if we travel together. We of course want to attend the onsen together. IIt's unfortunate that they don't have a gender mixed day or something.

Weird how the article says: "Of course, the nudity only happens here once the genders are separate." Guess it really goes to show that even when people accept nudism they still think it is sexual. I can think of no reason for the genders to be separated.

Not really you have to understand this is a cultural thing for Japan.. a tradition going back over 1000 years

Exactly… I have been there. Onsens separated by sex and culture is ok. There are some private ones that are coed.

Exactly… I have been there. Onsens separated by sex and culture is ok. There are some private ones that are coed.
Some none privare are bit segregated as well. Traditionally, it was common for onsens to be non segregated, but after western influence it became illegal.
