Well I only really read Harry Potter so J K Rowling for me. (Not like the bookstores here sell much good stuff heh)

Ooh, that's a hard one. My favourites would be Terry Pratchett, Terry Brooks, Sergei Lukyanenko and Alexandra Bracken
