What do the coloured boxes under your username mean?

When someone posts, there's coloured boxes under their name, like right now I have three yellow ones. What do they mean?

I'd like to know too.  I think they have to do with the number of posts you've made.

It does have to do with the number of posts you've made, it's a bit like a ranking. On most forums I use it's stars instead of boxes, and it goes from one star for super new members up to five as you make more and more posts. I think it's connected to the titles like "casually dressed" that you can see between your username and the boxes, that's how it is on most forums, but I admit I don't know that for sure.

Rest are member groups.

Admin is 8 green squares.
Moderator is 7 green squares.
Special Youth Mod is 7 blue ones.
Veteran is 5 yellow squares.
Female is 5 red
Guy and teens is 5 blue
Retired staff is 6 yellow.
