Something that annoys me

Okso guys, I'm a huge video game fan, all types of games, especially older games.

So basically, I think I was born in the wrong generation. I wish I was born in the Early 2000's where pc's weren't popular!!!

Cuz now, I'm here with an Xbox 360 with a LOT of games, a PS4 again with A LOT OF AWESE GAMES a switch, a 2DS XL AND A quest 2

And guess what? I have no one to play with, cuz all of my Friends arepart of the pcmasterrace, and yeah, i could  easily sell them all and have a beastof a PC like them, but hell no!!! I didn't spend years of saving and I'm not going to sell my dad's old stuff?!! This, all of this is way to cool to sell, even the 360 or the DS. People need to realize this

I just wish I could have lived in the Xbox 360 chatting era, or have a pokemon friend group, or even have some buds that arepassioned by VR headsets and can play with them, cuz I'm here playing all these cool ass games on consoles, which IMO are better than pc, cuz it's cheaper, and even better sometimes, because you don't need to have normal RAM and V-RAM like on PC, consoles are focused and made for gaming so they only have video RAM and the game companies itself also put more effort Into the console ports of games since there's only one console, and a computer has millions of combinations component wise.

Yeah,overall I just find it sad that everyone leans towards PC over console, unlike in the past. I was born in 07 and I wish I was in 02

And whenever I'm playing friends be messaging me, hop on val hop on Minecraft and stuff, when I'm not gonna enjoy my time, because I don't have a powerful enough computer.

Consoles are much more worth it. Cheaper with more power, more support from devs. connects more people

I never understood people who bought consoles... they're not cheap, they're actually quite expensive, and even if you do strike a deal where you get one cheaper than a desktop PC with equivalent hardware, there's no possibility to upgrade anything at all. With PC you can usually make some small upgrades to keep playing latest games for much longer than a console. I guess the recent crypto nonsense did make PCs more expensive but that's temporary.

I'm lucky. I live in an apartment with 2 other guys who have an Xbox and we occasionally play games on the console together. It's a lot of fun. Other than that I mainly use pc.

Personally how I see it, the newest Xbox is really not worth it, all Xbox games are available on pc, even the exclusives. An Xbox One would be fine for a family machine for younger kids to play because it isn’t as expensive anymore, can easily support multiple players at once, parents can block access to the web browser, or use as a game machine/streaming box (like a roku).

The Switch has an advantage to playing games on the go, something that you can’t do on pc. Both the Switch and PS5 could be warranted for the exclusives that don’t make their way to other platforms/pc.

Older platforms (7th generation and older) could be warranted if you wanted to play the games that released on that system that never got released or to play it in its original form, who would want to play Wii Sports on a pc with a mouse and keyboard?

But besides those points, pcs are better, you don’t have to pay to play online, you can upgrade easier, and it might be cheaper.
