I’m about 8 episodes of Black List in and I’m really enjoying it… but it’s getting a bit repetitive

1 bad situation
2 race to figure it out before disaster
3 figure it out at the last second
4 case solved

Is it like that every episode or is it worth sticking with.

For me, that's basically it. Throw in some American patriotism and political messages ("But hey, fracking is good! Let's get that eco-activist!") and you got the mix that got me off it.

Yes, just like most shows it has a "formula" that each episode follows. But there's also an overarching plot that's slowly revealed throughout the season. I would say that's a very common setup for TV shows, but it doesn't mean the show is boring because you do get a different mystery on every episode. I wouldn't say it's not "worth sticking to", but if you don't like this format, by all means go watch something else  :cool:
