Thanks for the support and welcome, everyone! I appreciate it

And, yeah, Topher. You're not wrong... Several have left after we've began pushing back against that attitude. But there's still a lot holding the club back from what it could be.
@mountainbare Dare I ask what state, or part of the country, that club is in?

I'll leave them anonymous for now, haha. Random visitors would probably still have a lovely time. And things are getting better, little by little. Hopefully we're able to keep discouraging the bad apples from hanging around.

Thank you and thanks for asking! :azn: I went to school in the north west, swung through California, traversed the mountains of Colorado, and beheld the spectacle of Montana. I've hiked mountains in these places anywhere and everywhere I could. Stealing yourself away from the beaten path and hiking through the mountains nude? There's nothing else like it. Since I've been bare in the mountains, the name came naturally!

Wow! I bet the scenery would have been amazing. Post card worthy. Was they legal nudist tracks? Did you ever bump into people?

Some have been! Others... there really was no one else around. Safe, so far.

What an experience. I've done one nude hike in Australia. The track was just over 1km and led to a nude beach. One person walked past going in the opposite direction. Whilst my heart was definitely beating fast, it was nothing else but a friendly greeting.

Welcome! Yes sadly in our time people are becoming more prudish and sexualized in bad ways, causes people to simultaneously to shame nudity and sexualize it. Doesn't make naturism popular with people who haven't been introduced to it by friends and family.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

We're the same age, nice. I started identifying as/with naturism at maybe 17/18. Seems to be the same for you.

Sucks that you met such shitty attitudes at the clubs, doesn't surprise me but kinda funny when you think that they should be more liberal.  Strong of you taking the fight, I try to aswell in different situations buts it's difficult.

I read that you had a girlfriend aswell, what does she think about naturism?
